My children have had enough easter eggs, I don't want to waste them. What are some simple recipes I could make with left over chocolate easter eggs?
Anything you would use chocolate chips for, like cookies. Also, here's a super easy fudge recipe, just use the eggs instead of chocolate chips.

MICROWAVE MELTAWAY FUDGE

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tsp. vanilla

In large bowl, combine condensed milk and chocolate chips. Microwave on high 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minutes or until melted, stirring once. Stir until smooth, add vanilla and stir well. Pour into greased 9x9 inch pan. Refrigerate until set. Makes 1 pound 9 oz.What are some simple recipes I could make with left over chocolate easter eggs?
If you like macaroons, you can make some which are super-easy and then melt the chocolate from the easter eggs and dip the macaroons in the chocolate. Then place them in the fridge to set.

To make the macaroons, just take shredded coconut, mix w/sugar, and egg whites and a dash of vanilla. Then place spoonfuls of the mixture onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350 until golden. Shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes or so. You can then dip the macaroons in the chocolate. They are tasty and look great. Nice to serve w/coffee or tea if you have unexpected guests.
Good grief........it is barely past Easter and you are already getting rid of the candy??!!.........At least give them a few days to relish in the fun and memory of the day before you melt down their candy.
