In a couple of days, my club is having a bakesale. I wanted to bake something from simple, but yummy, of course. Does anyone know any simple recipes for desserts such as cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc., other than the bagged mixes you can buy at a store?Does anyone have some simple recipes for a bakesale?

You can buy a mix and doctor it up and claim it as your own. I make this banana bread that taste so home made and it's good for you also. (It's not bad for you.) I start with Pillsbury Banana bread mix. I add to it 2 mashed very ripe bananas 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts instead of oil I add apple sauce it also calls for 2 eggs and a cup of water. (milk if you are making cupcakes) I would follow the bread recipe. 1 box followed the way I said will yield 4 mini loaf pans. You can get 5 bucks a pop. If you want to be really fancy, add a cup of frozen blueberries. Just mix them in frozen. People will go ga ga

A very easy and delicious one is to make cookiecakes it is just too easy to do and kids will love them...Id buy 3-4 different kind of pre-cut cookies simply fill ur muffin tin with the paper baking cup put 1 pc in each and bake ..after cooling you can ice and decorate these with different icings.
what i have always had good luck with at a bakesale is, .....buy store bought plain biscuit dough (pillsbury) cut the centers out and fry like a doughnut. if you want jelly, dont cut a hole in the center . fry and squeeze jelly into it with a pastry bag . they will sell like crazy. also shake in a bag of sugar or cinnamon sugar or ice them with frosting.
rice krispie treats are quick and easy and always a big hit.
you can also make them with cocoa krispies and then add some peanut butter to the melted marshmallows and it amkes a great chocolate peanutbutter krispie treat
good luck
hope you sell alot
I used to make chocolate covered pretzels for bake sales and the went like crazy. You just buy pretzel rods and dip them in chocolate. The chocolate bark stuff works best because it gets firm again. You can also add a little paraffin to the chocolate to help it get firm again. Finally, add some sprinkles if you are selling them where children will be buying. Yum!
I would buy a brownie mix... and add some nuts and peanut butter and call it home made
