I'm going to be living in an uber small room off campus at my pastor's house, and all I'm allowed to have in there for food is a small fridge and a hotpot. I'm desperate, I need really simple recipes to make for dinners. I'm going to dollar general tomorrow to get the food. Oh by the way, I love top ramen noodles without the spice packet, but I need more variety. Any suggestions?I'm moving to school tomorrow, and I need really simple recipes to make in a hotpot?
Any canned foods (soups, beans etc.). You can boil water so you could make any kind of pasta. You could also get creative and make quesadilla's or grilled cheese with your iron (just be sure to use paper towels!!). I can't remember most of what I use to make... Just think anything that can be boiled or heated...I'm moving to school tomorrow, and I need really simple recipes to make in a hotpot?
mac and cheese, bread, pb and j, cheese, oatmeal, soup packets, canned veggies, canned pastas, etc...
if you are referring a crockpot as a hotpot then i have the recipe for you... in the morning, put in some beef (roast or stewing meat); can of coke; pack of onion soup mix and a can of cream of mushroom soup (or any cream of soup)... let cook on low all day... when you are ready for supper, stir and serve with any veggies you prefer... hope you enjoy it!!
if money is an issue, use stewing meat... it's cheap and the all day cooking makes it very tender!!!
