I like to marinate meat over night and then throw it in the crock pot in the morning on low before work. Most of the time I just make up my recipes.

Yesterday I took 6 chicken drum sticks and took the skin off and let them marinate over night in some water with salt, fresh cut up cilantro, chopped up white onion, Mrs.Dash seasonings and some pepper. I let it cook from 8am till 7pm and then gently took the chicken out and placed it on a foil lined baking sheet and let it broil in the oven for 5 mins, that way it was a little bit crisp and then served it with Rice R Roni.

It was Delicious.

I do the same with pot roast, sometimes I let it marinate with some lime juice, water and misc seasoning.
