I want to cook something hearty and good. I am a vegetarian, so I won't add any meat. I don't want anything complicated. I only have simple spices (salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash, parsley, garlic, onions and bell pepper).
I also have brocoli, yellow squash, corn, and mushrooms. I am in college and would like to fix a easy, but good meal that will satisfy. ThanksDoes anyone have any simple recipes for red potatoes and cheese,?

Red potatoes
Cheddar cheese
Fresh chives
Sour cream
Freshly grated black pepper
Boil red potatoes until soft (skin left on). Drain and cool. Slice potatoes into 1/4 inch slices. Coat a shallow baking dish with cooking spray. Spread potato slices one layer thick in dish and cover with Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with chives. Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees until cheese is bubbly. I like to roast veggies together in the oven
Potatoes, Peppers, squash, mushrooms onions (just cut them up into bite size pieces, or a little bigger) Put some oil over them or something on the bottom of the pan so they don't get too stuck. mix them together and put salt and pepper on them.
Cook for about 30-40 minutes on 350 degrees, or until they look cooked and the potatoes are of desired consitency.
I make this all the time. good way to get rid of some left overs and tastes great!
I don't get these kind of questions. It's like 'hey guys I have macaroni and cheese, how do I make macaroni and cheese?'
Are your guests vegetarian? If not, you arent going to satisfy them with brocolli and mushrooms. I'm sure theyll pretend to like it but it won't be good.

dice potatoes approx 1 %26amp; 1/2 cm cubes, put in a pot filled with water and bring to the boil. cook in boiling water with a couple of pinches of salt for 20 minutes...
take them out and put them in a baking dish, add brocoli, onions (diced) corn and mushrooms... crack some pepper over the top - spread the cheeseover the top, cover and cook in preheated oven (200 deg celcius) for 20 minutes....
amount to use per ingredient is up to you as the only flavours are pepper and cheese you only need to adjust the inredients to suit the amount you are feeding... as a general rule one medium potato per person - two small per person etc...
RED POTATOES WITH CHEESE AND
BACON
6-8 red small red potatoes
1 stick butter
1 pkg Hormel real bacon pieces
3/4 cup shredded cheddar
garlic salt
freshly ground pepper
salt
olive oil
Preheat oven to 375掳F.
Wash potatoes and cut into quarters. Grease bottom and sides of glass baking dish with olive oil.
Place potatoes in a dish and slice stick of butter into 1 tablespoon pats and place on top of potatoes.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Cover with foil and bake until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes. Remove foil and cover with cheese and bacon pieces.
Place back in oven until cheese is melted, about 5-10 minutes.
These are a great accompaniment to grilled meats and poultry.
